Myth of the Day

Scandle Candle's Beauty Myth Countdown.

Myth #24:

Alcohol abuse can cause your nose to become red and bulbous.

Truth:

The consumption of alcohol can temporarily dilate blood vessels in the skin and make your skin look flushed. But in most cases, alcohol does not cause your skin to become red, inflamed or irritated. Those symptoms are usually caused by a skin disorder called rosacea.
